Hacienda Siesta Alegre, located in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, is the perfect venue for an unforgettable wedding experience. The Spanish Colonial style Hacienda immediately transports visitors to a different, more refined classical era. Hacienda Siesta Alegre is surrounded by a lush tropical forested area with a view towards El Yunque Tropical Forest, and to parts of the island’s eastern sea coast.
Thus, it is always an exciting experience to shoot weddings at Hacienda Siesta Alegre. Few places in Puerto Rico are as classy, and as beautiful. Visiting the Hacienda always feels like a trip to a distant, and classical past. Hacienda Siesta Alegre never ceases to amaze its guests, and it is always surrounded by lush greenery all year round.
Juan and Evelita’s wedding day couldn’t have been more magical for them, and all of us involved in it. Evelita’s wedding preparation was filled with good friends, and family. The joy that the presence of loved ones brings to a bride during her most important day of her life was palpable in the air. Juan, himself, was surrounded by his best friends during his own preparation which created a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Their ceremony took place in an exterior part of the Hacienda. It was full of friends, family, and Slovenian traditions thanks to Evelita’s heritage. It was certainly, an unforgettable celebration of Evelita and Juan’s special bond.
The reception, just like the ceremony, was warm and Evelita’s sweetness made us feel welcomed from beginning to end. It was a privilege for me to watch this couple as they wrote another chapter in their story. This wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre had a special sentimental feeling for me as well, I did Juan and Evelita’s surprise engagement photos, as well, a year earlier at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico . So, you can imagine the excitement I felt when I finally witnessed their love story come to a magical “happily ever after” conclusion.
