Nitsy and Kevin’s was one of the most unique celebrations that we have shot. We had to travel to three different locations in order to document the Bride and Groom’s preparation, their ceremony, and the Reception of the Wedding. We started our wedding day coverage at the couple’s hotel near the T-Mobile district, and finished the day at the iconic Antiguo Casino of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Traveling between three different venues in a single wedding isn’t a first for us, but not necessarily something that is common.
In Puerto Rico, Weddings – be it destination or from local clients – take place within the same resort, or at most, two separate locations. This time around, the presence of three locales kept us on our toes, and it made for an exciting experience.
Nitsy and Kevin’s day began at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort and Casino. The Hotel provided an ideal location for our groom and bride to get ready for what would be an epic celebration of their love.
We were able to capture some family moments of Kevin and his family, as well as some gorgeous bridal shots with Nitsy. From there we would go to Condado, for a religious celebration in one of San Juan’s most influential parishes!
Parroquia Stella Maris at Condado, is a modern, and dare we say, luxurious parish in which Catholic couples can choose to get married. The parish is adorned by marble tiles, and a roomy interior, which always provides comfort for guests and couples alike.
Nitsy and Kevin’s day trickle – rather swiftly – to the final stage of their celebration in the amazing wedding reception venue at the Antiguo Casino in Old San Juan. The Antiguo Casino’s Ballroom remains one of the most luxurious and spacious venues in which to host your wedding reception. It is definitely one of our favorite locations to shoot at.
Apart from that, the Antiguo Casino has a stunning garden area with classy water fountain. This garden is framed by an enchanted view of Old San Juan, which includes a view into a section of the Spanish Colonial fort, El Morro.
We were able to capture some truly stunning, editorial styled couple shots of Nitsy and Kevin in this area before we headed back to the ballroom to proceed with the festivities.
The Antiguo Casino’s Ballroom is both, majestic, and spacious. If you want to choose a comfortable location for your guests during the reception of your wedding day, it is hard to find a better place. The ballroom of the Antiguo Casino provides ample seating room for your guests and their tables. Beyond this, the ballroom also offers a large dance floor for the guests to enjoy a wedding celebration to its fullest.
Needless to say, the night did not disappoint! Nitsy and Kevin’s reception was a celebration full of music, dancing, and dynamic artistic acts (provided by Sak Entertainment) which delighted their guests from start to finish! Dancers with butterfly wings framed by a dazzling light show joined the joyous guests lending the celebration and Euro club atmosphere that not a single soul in that venue will ever forget!
Long live our newly weds!
